11/19/2011 edit- Videos in 6th post! So yeah, I'm so ate up with IDPA on the brain, that I got an old Co2 airsoft working, and have been puting together a practice "stage" to get a little better at draw/aim/move etc. Yes I know this may seem extremely cheesy, a grown man shooting at postal boxes in his back yard... But damnit, I just can't wait till we do that class & and are able to shoot for realz. So here is my setup so far- Walmart Hk USP Co2 pistol, $40ish when I bought it, maybe less now. Holster, $10 from... somewhere, but modded a bit, so as to not suck. Belt was the stiffest/widest I could find at wally, $11 I think... Mag pouch was at GoodWill & has also been modded to hold mags tight without straps/snaps. All items shown on background of lovely flowered "concealment garment" (XXL hawaiian shirt). Next we have our repurposed (for now, they of course will eventually be used, as per law, as official postal boxes, for shipment) USPS boxes, as targets. In the center, we have replaceable -0/-1 section, which has a lightly printed circle & angled edges (printed 50 of these)... The target is about 3/4 size I think, so the real ones should seem BIG! I actually had a set of 5, all stapled to stakes & set up... but the new ones are more like real the IDPA shape, so I need to make more of these. Anyone who wants to stop by, and shoot the "course" is welcome, post here, or whatever!

No, it's about 5.5" I think... and the rest of the target is pretty close to that scale, but not exact. I figured since there is no recoil, a smaller target would force me to take more time to aim, as if I had waited for the sights to return to level... Plus, what the hell, if you can hit a 6" circle at 10 yards... the 8" has no chance :D

Im trying to make it so I can find/reuse the boo-lets, so I'm working on a catch system. By the way, I stuck this gun in my shop vice a tested it, 3" groups at 7 yards, with a damn airsof! I can't quite shoot it that good... But when bolted down, the gun can.

Saying that guy makes DIY holsters, is like saying Ferrari makes DIY cars, cause they are hand made... People with ALL the tools, ALL the skills, and ALL the materials, are manufacturers of the thing... not DIY guys. But yeah, that's some damn fine leather.
